This 5.5x50 beauty comes outfitted with a ’92 Sumatra wrapper and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers that were aged 5 years. This stick provides a medium-bodied smoke with flavor notes of chocolate, licorice, espresso, and subtle hints of spice. I’d say this is a perfect cigar for the winter season.

Next, we have the JRF XT No. 660 Box Press Corojo. These cigars are produced Casa Fernandez using tobacco exclusively grown on their famous Aganorsa farm in Nicaragua. This farm is known for having a perfect climate and fertile black soils that allow the tobacco grown there to resemble tobacco found in the Pinar del Rio and Vuelta Abajo growing regions of Cuba. This Cuban-like cigar is wrapped in a Corojo wrapper that provides a medium-to-full bodied smoke.
You may be wondering what JRF stands for. It actually stands for “Just For Retailers,” which is ironic because the demand for this cigar became so high that it was eventually made available everywhere, which is why it is now available here on Cigars.com and included for your kit for this month.

Featuring an aged blend of Nicaraguan long filler as well as binder leaves grown in the famous Jalapa and Esteli regions, this stick is encased in a stunning Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Offering a bold medium-to-full bodied smoke, the HVC Seleccion will give you flavor notes of earth, coffee, tobacco sweetness, cinnamon, cedar, and, on the finish, some hints of cream.

The H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez Heritage Toro was born from the partenership of AJ Fernandez and Altadis USA. You can feel Aj’s touch in these bad boys. Not only do they use aged long fillers and a Habano binder grown on AJ’s very own farms, but they are also rolled at the famous Tabacalera AJ Fernandez cigar factory located in Nicaragua.
Where Altadis comes in is their triple fermented Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper leaf, yielding a medium-to-full bodied smoke that is hearty and rich. While puffing, you will taste notes of sweet tobacco, spice, earth, leather, and hints of pepper.

Rounding out this month’s box, we have what should be a familiar face to you. In November's kit last year, we included a stick from El Mago Cigars. We’re doing the same this month except with different one of their cigars: The Miami Maduro. El Mago Cigars was created by Nicolas Fusco, who was the youngest cigar owner at the time in 2022 when the company debuted. He was inspired to create the company after the passing of his grandparents, who died in the tragic collapse of the Champlain Towers condominium in Miami in 2021. El Mago Cigars is meant to honor their memory.
The Miami line comes in eye-catching packaging, featuring the blue and pink colors that are often associated with Miami. The band is also sure to catch your eye, showcasing an image of Fusco’s grandparents. This maduro cigar offers a dark and flavorful yet medium-bodied smoke that will give you notes of black pepper, cocoa, earth, and finishing off with some sweet mocha.
